Inspectors here have enforced that the strap be listed for PVC conduit. If that or any other metal strap is listed for the PVC then it's fine, otherwise it's a violation.
So on an underground service you use a plastic strap on the house and metal straps on the pole because the POCO won't accept plastic straps on the pole. :roll:
