Red = Tip = White/Blue
Green = Ring = Blue White

...and so on, correct?
[I'm not sure on the T & R]


BTW, I didn't know Bedrock had phone service :)

Actually, the red = the solid blue.

As for tip and ring, do you know where that comes from? Phone operator switchboards used plugs very similar to the modern 1/4" stereo headphone plug.

If you look at such a plug, you'll see that the plug's contacts are the tip (L ch), the ring (R ch), and the sleeve (com.) A mono plug has no ring terminal.

Very interesting!

I had no idea how Tip/Ring was determined/decided upon ~ thank you.
 
Hers is how I remember it.
Red Right Ring.
On drop wire, the ring is identified with a tracer or rib
But I don't think polarity matters unless its a party line which rings to ground.
