Hello,
I have a Rectifier mounted on a power pole. It is a 120v drop to the meter to a 60a Disconnect then the Rectifier. The pole has the ground rod attached to the meter can. All conduit is rigid pvc coated metal. The EGC is 12awg wire from the disconnect.
Im trying to settle a discussion among our co workers on what to do with the external lug on the rectifier. Connect the external lug to the same ground rod as the GEC, Connect the external lug to a new ground rod, or to bond the Rectifier to the Disconnect and Meter can.
Any input from you all would be great. I know there a lot of intelligent people here that know this better than I.
