catv installation for hospital patient rooms

I have been put in charge of installing new 24 volt televisions in the hospital where I work. I have a question about the cable installation process. Does the cable have to be in conduit where it drops down the headwall to the tv mounting plate. Thanks

It does not have to be in concuit but if not, it would be a poor job. Use some type of surface raceway. You many be able to use non metallic depending on fire codes...
