Cerberus MXL MOI-7

Good Morning,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a MOI-7 (trouble led) connected to an MXL panel (Also displays trouble).

Power in. 4.95 vdc (good)
Communication on TB 1 is good and has resistor installed.

This MOI is connected to 4 MOD-16's which output to 7 SR-35 cards.

MOI-7 card was swapped but no change.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The panel displays Address 17 MOI-7 troiuble.

If the trouble light on the module is on steady, it means that it is no longer communicating with the MXL.

If the MOI-7 is networked, you'll have wires coming in and out of TB1 at the top of the board. You'll have a cable going from P1 at the upper left of the board back to the PSR-1 at P9, or if you're using a PS-35/PS-5 it goes to J2 on the PS-5. There is also a connection from the PSR-1 TB3-2 or PS-35 terminal 6 to TB2-2 on the MOI-7. From TB2-1 you go out to the MOD-16's. There is also a cable running from P4 on the MOI-7 to the MOD-16. WITH THE POWER OFF, check/reseat all connections, power back up and see what happens.

If the MOI-7 is NOT networked, there will be a ribbon cable running from P5 on the MOI-7 to P6 on the PSR-1. P1 and TB1 are NOT used in this configuration. There is also a cable running from P4 on the MOI-7 to the MOD-16. WITH THE POWER OFF, reseat the cables at both ends, power up and see what happens.

If this trouble shooting doesn't work, you may need a new MOI-7.
