CFL for Incandescent ?

My "gut feeling" is it should be but without it being a tested combination (the fixture manufacturer could tell you) it would be problematic.

In my experience self ballasted CFL's just don't like to be even in ordinary enclosed fixtures. It just gets too warm in there for the electronic ballast.
