Nicely said Matt. Satcom, that's a unique way of thinking by looking in the fridge. CharlieT., you topped the whole thread off. What comes around goes around. We can't do things like that all the time, but when you do, it WILL come back to you.

This is pretty good advice, but I might feel that my sticker on their panel somehow could associate me with the existing electrical system (good or bad). I would have to make a judgment call on that one. Maybe I'd leave a magnet for the fridge instead.

I do both. Another good spot for a sticker is on the cover of their phone book. That way when they reach for the phone book to call an electrician they'll see your sticker before they even open it. The only bad thing is when the new phone book comes they throw the old one out along with your sticker. But stickers are cheap though.

For panels that are a mess you could have a sticker that reads:

We did not create this mess but when you feel the need to clean it up please give us a call.
