Somehow I got the impression we were a form of brotherhood, here to offer each other advice and comfort, especially in hard times.
Charging for estimates is not working!

Yes, it should be, I think this charging for estimates thread has too many miles on it, and needs a rest stop.
The issue is simple, no business can continue, if they give their services away, customers that think there is a free lunch, will always be there, so if anyone wants to supply a free lunch, and take food off their table, that is their option, the beauty of this great land, we are free to make choices.
