I have come across a chicago type bender made by Enerpac. It looks to be for 1/2"-1" RMC. I have been all over the net looking for info about it but have come up empty. It looks like it works okay and he wants $50.00 for it. I would like to find a manual for it if possible. I found an operators manual for a Greenlee 1800. Does anyone know if is similar to the Greenlee?

I think I'm going to go get it tomorrow. I can download an operators manual with the charts from Greenlees site. I looks to be in good shape. I don't think the guy selling it knows exactly what it is. He mostly deals in used machine shop stuff like lathe chucks, colletts, steadyrests, tailstocks and tool holders.
Okay, I saw this thing at an antique tractor and steam engine show yesterday for $50.00. I went back today and it was still there marked down to $40.00 so I bought it. I asked the guy if it worked okay and he said he didn't know what it was supposed to do so he couldn't really say if it worked or not. I brought it home and have been fooling with it in the shop. It works good. I bent some 90s and a few offsets and it's pretty slick. The shoe is marked for 1/2, 3/4, and 1 EMT. It is an Enerpac BF-1000. The shoe group is a Enerpac Z1302. I still can't find anything on the web about it. It is similar to the Greenlee 1800 but a little different. I have digital pics of the beast but am not sure how to post them in this thread. So if anyone wants to see it they are going to have to help me post the pics.

I thought fifty dollars was great but you got it for forty. Good for you!
I have seen some great deals at flea markets. Especially if the person selling it has no clue what it is.
I know a guy who bought various dies for a hydraulic punch set including a four-inch punch. I think he paid twenty-five dollars for all. What a steal.

Enerpac became part of Gardner Bender years ago. I don?t know if it helps but here is a link to G&B?s current benders.

Why would you need a bender like that? 2" EMT is easily bent by hand.
