Depends on the exact situation and equipment your wiring, IMO. Its all a design issue, no code requirement.

If you are talking about the feed, most of the chillers I've seen have a stationary control cabinet so vibration was not and issue. Wiring from the controller to the motor is most often flexible.

That is what I have seen as well.
