ciling fan height

does the code have a requirment on height on locations other than above pools. ? living area,porchs,etc.

The NEC does not directly address the height at which a ceiling fan needs to be installed.

Check with the manufactures installation instructions they will typically state a height.

Also the building codes have a minimum headroom requirement for habitable rooms and spaces.

we go with 7' to lowest edge here. i hate it. feel like im gonna lose my head. i try to talk people out of em
