Question regarding replacement breakers for older style panels.
I have a Sylvania 120/240v 125amp AC Panel with Challenger type c breakers.
I have been searching for exact replacements breaker for this type panel and haven't had much luck.
The panel already has a MP-t type Murray breaker installed in it but I am always skeptacle regarding just using any breaker that will fit.
A cutler hammer breaker BR type will also fit into this panel.
The AIC is 10,000amp.
Service is as stated above for a single family dwelling.
Any input on proper replacement criteria?
