The fact remains that the expansion of AFCI's and the handle-tie rules are going to eliminate (in the case of AFCI's) and discourage (with the case of handle ties) the use of MWBC's. It's all an underhanded way of eliminating them from use, whether intentional or not.

Not a problem as I know you are against any restrictions on MWBC's. I knew what you were saying.
