I won't take it as being rude but, what does that have to do with my post?

The fact remains that the expansion of AFCI's and the handle-tie rules are going to eliminate (in the case of AFCI's) and discourage (with the case of handle ties) the use of MWBC's. It's all an underhanded way of eliminating them from use, whether intentional or not.
 
Oh oh, I went back a read your post #34, I missed where we had narrowed it down to residential wiring, sorry, and I agree with this being the case.

Not a problem as I know you are against any restrictions on MWBC's. :) I knew what you were saying.
