NYC and most others have adopted the same life safety codes. No more than 6' Greenfield unless it's an existing wall cavity. No Romex, period. No non-metallic flex.

Looks like an excellent product for corrosion resistance and places where sanitation is a high priority. Unfortunately I haven't seen anything on any pages I went to on their site that mention it being listed:blink:

Minneapolis / St. Paul and many of the inner ring suburbs had a so-called "All Metal" code, regardless of occupancy, that described the allowed wiring methods. Any cable with a metal sheath and any metallic raceway method satisfied the All Metal Code.

The All Metal Code was instituted by electrical jurisdiction in the Thirties and removed in the Seventies.

Most of the suburbs around Chicago have the no NM codes.

Are you allowed to use MC/FMC?

I believe you are permitted but only for short runs in an existing installation (like adding a paddle fan to an existing bedroom) . If walls and ceilings are open you'll have to run new conduits or extend the existing conduit system (don_resqcapt19 please correct me if I'm wrong).
