we use a 320kw generator for our 3 phase power it is our only source of 3 phase power it is not connected to a transfer switch.

we turn the key then flip the breaker thats it my question is this a seperatly derived system or where im not switching the neutral is it a non sds.

A generator that is not connected to transfer equipment is always SDS. The only time a generator is not a SDS is when it is connected to transfer equipment that does not switch all of the circuit conductors.

seperatly derived system

seperatly derived system

then am i to understand that i should bond the egc to the pe ground then to building steel? the egc is also terminated at the panel.

article 250.30 states that a grounded conductor shall not be connected to normally non-current carrying metal parts of equipment,to equipment grounding conductors, or be reconnected to ground on the load side of the point of the point of grounding of a SDS.

does this mean i shouln't bond the EGC to the PE ground then to the building?

article 250.30 seems to suggest that i shouldn't bond the EGC to the PE ground the to the building steel am i understanding that correctly.

Is this a 3 wire ungrounded system, a 3 wire corner grounded system, or a 4 wire grounded wye system?

where is the bonding jumper installed?

is this the only source of power to the structure?

what type of 3 phase system

YES SDS. Now what power do you have? 3phase 3 wire, 3 phase 4 wire? Corner grounded on the 3 wire?
Need some more details.
