How can you tell if a transformer or other device is a class 1, 2, or 3 power limited circuit power source? Is there any wattage limitation between class 1 and class 2?

Simply being small in size does not make a transformer power limiting. I would want to see proof (i.e. a listing) that it was designed for Class 2 applications.

Take a look at Tables 11A & B in Chaper 9 for some information, but I think even if the comply with the table, the power supplies must still be listed as a Class 2 or 3 power supply.
