Class 1 div. 1 locations

Can Appleton reducing bushings, such as RB75-50 or RB100-75 be used in a class 1, div. 1 location?
I know the threaded bell reducing couplings can, such as BR100-75 but can’t determine if the reducing bushings can.

Typically it would have the CL1 rating stamped on the RB if it is rated for classified locations. You can also check the spec sheet.

Reducers of this type may not be "stamped" directly, but "oldsparky52" is correct about checking the datasheets:

A Warning Note: be sure the datasheet indicates actual certification [e.g., UL Listed: E34997], not just "compliance". A few manufactures will indicate their non-listed products as "UL Compliant".

Just curious, have you ever seen a stick of RMC with a Class I or similar mark?
