Im just wanting to bounce my ideas off of you guys. Im about to start running raceway in a small area of a plant classified as class 1 division 2. According to article 501 I believe I can use rigid conduit, malable fittings with gasketed covers, and seal tight once inside the classified space. I plan to use a seal off just before entering said space, and all my relays and current using devices will be installed in the unclassified space. The only concern I have is the damper actuator motors. These were installed by others, and are not in any type of rated enclosure. My scope of work is just wiring said actuators. Maybe use a seal off at each actuator motor?
