Class 2 transformer/equipment in Fire Riser room

We are installing a sign, a set of letters on a building, which contain 24Vdc LED for illumination. This will require a remote mounted 120V => 24Vdc. transformer. We'll mount this in our standard UL enclosure w/ disconnect, but a portion of the secondary leads land in the top of a Fire Riser room (the other portion is in the house electrical room.) Do we have any code-related restrictions regarding installation of our secondary equipment in the fire riser room? We'd likely splice the LED leads in handi-boxes and chase over to the house electrical room.
