NFPA 72 A.6.4.2.2.2 (2007) identifies the a 1' seperation on vertical rise and 4' seperation on horozontal runs of a class A fire alarm system pathway.

there used to be several exceptions to these seperation rules depending on the installation. is there another section i need to look at, or is that somthing that has been revised and no longer part of NFPA 72.

it seems like you could drop a single pipe to a pull station, and some stuff like that. its been a long time since i had to look it up and just cant find it. I have both the 2007 and 2013 so any references i would appreciate it.
