In the past, I have installed a NEMA 4X enclosure with terminals in it in a Class I Div 2 area. I now have an installation in a Class I Zone 2 area and I am not sure if the same installation is acceptable.
I know that generally equipment rated for use in a Div 2 area is acceptable in a Zone 2, but does this apply to nema 4x enclosures?
What section of the code would I find more information on this? I was looking at 505.20. The Boxes and fittings setion in 501.10 seems to address the 4X issue in the Div 2 areas, but I cannot find a corresponding section in the Zone section of the code.
