I'll trying resolve a issues of installing a hardwired class II power supply in a cabinet. Is a metal enclosure required, if the power supply is in a open cabinet, as opposed to installed in a wall?
Power Supply, such as we see for computers and other such equipment?
If the unit is fully contained, and the hard wiring is in an enclosed compartment, I do not see an issue.
The Class II power supply is LED driver for Lighting. The unit is plastic, both input and output wiring blocks are covered. The open cabinet is a for retail display, constructed of MDF board or Plywood.
