Clients Ham Radio noise issue.

The noise is coming from the house as I have the ham radio hooked to a
solor battery and with master bedroom breaker turned off - noise goes away

any ceiling fans?

If the ham radio is using battery power can it be made portable?
Why use an AM radio when you have a tunable receiver with a signal strength meter built in?

Found problem -- AC/DC dropped by and he tracked it down to a power
supply in my wife's computer - 50 feet away

Ahhh of course, as a fun electronics project I would replace that switchmode power supply with a beefy 'old skool' transformer based linear, then you can keep you wife and have your radio.

Is there an attic HVAC system, HRV or bathfan on the circuit? The 4 to minutes sounds like a power up delay on a hvac system, might have to crawl in the attic and have someone turn on the breaker and see what changes.
