With glass or without ???

As stated, that's very confusing. Compared to what? The incandescent equivalent? I don't think so.

Oh, sorry. :roll: I was simply correcting the notion that they give off "zero" heat. But yes, obviously less than incadescent.

Yes, LED's do give off SOME heat, but not nearly as much as incandescent. If you touch an incandescent bulb in operation, you will burn your finger; LED bulbs are just lukewarm to the touch.
