There is a tankless instant water heaters underneath the sink in a restroom. Next to it there's a 4-square box with a industrial cover plate with a single pole switch rated for 20 amp and was flex out with a liquidtight metallic conduit (is this a code violation or not?) Ive seen water heaters that been install with a cord plug or a switch disconnect or toggle switchor a straight run from the panel from the circuit breaker ( Im confused?). Im trying to find the article on the requirement for a instant hot and also knowing and understanding on appliances what requirements are acceptable for location and needing a cord plug, switch disconnect, switch and circuit breaker. Here are the spec's and a image of it on the WEB# also wire that was run into the 4 square is wire in 10 AWG
