Coil Windings used as supports

At our Lab we have an experiment that is surounded with exposed, insulated coils that are supported to provide an external magnetic feild. My concern is that the scientists are useing the coils as raceways for coaxial, communication, fiber, air mointering tubes as well as cooling hoses. As this is experimental I realize that convential codes may not apply. I've referanced 300.11 B & C, 820.52, and 830.58.
Are there any others in the nec or other regs?

I don't feel this is within the scope of the NEC. Perhaps an electrical engineer should be consulted for apparatus arrangement.
