Why do people think the snow and cold are such terrible things. There are alot of things you can do in the northern parts of the country that you cant do anywhere else ( ice fishing,skiing,snowmobiling,take the kids sledding, ect.)
As for work I would take 10 degrees before 100 anytime.

I lived (if you can call it that) in PA for my first 24 years and even passed over twice some girl friends with money, One i did visit about 10 years ago. Ended up with millions but i still made right choice in leaving. If you like the cold then great but i spent the day out side barefoot and in shorts no shirt.Simply my choice not to work for 40 years before retiring to FL. I am retired and have no desire to live in the cold and snow vist yes. Am glad not all feel this way as Fl can't take everyone. Maybe the cold is for some and i admit some parts of the north i miss but will pass. When you add it all up i have lived just as nice here as you do there but without being cold. Ever notice that the ones in FL are not posting about the cold ? I have had for the last 36 years what your looking forward to seeing at 62.
