I thought I had found, maybe 8 or ten years ago, a company (thought it was Lutron) that would, for a price and extended lead time, take a paint chip and match device faceplates and wallplates. Was I having a nightmare? I've gone on Lutron's site and otherwise searched the web but...must have been a dream. Anybody...anybody?

I recall being at a small trade show 10+ years ago, Leviton had device plates that matched a major paint brand color

Probably the best is painting the cover plates. Toggle switches do come in white, putty, and grey-- not much to poke out of the cover plate.
Seems I remember Decora switches that came with interchangeable white/putty push-plates that could be painted.. Don't know if they did it for outlet plates too.
