What does FVNR stand for when it comes to Starters? Example: MCC calls out for 5HP 6KVA 8Amp Load, served by 3Pole 30Amp combo Starter.
Combo starter size 1 Type FVNR with FRS-R fuses.

There are no standard abbreviations (acronyms) but typically;

FVNR - full voltage non-reversing
FVR - full voltage reversing
SSRV - solid state reduced voltage
RVAT - reduced voltage autotransformer
CBCS - Circuit breaker combination starter
FCS - Fusible combination starter
ACLS - across the line starter
AFC - adjustable frequency controller
VFD - variable frequency drive
VSD - variable speed drive
