I'm with you in spirit. I always thought I was the only one bothered by the clutter of surplus wiring. I like to strip it out the best I can. Sometimes it's impossible to get all of it. I just don't know how to codify it. I liked your removal proposal better than your tagging one, but I don't know how to write the removal code and leave room for situations where it's just not feasible. I have purposely run EXTRA conductors (spares) when it's a tough pull or fish looking towards the future. I cap them off, label them, and mark them as "future". How do you permit that? I just don't know how to write it to make it simple, functional, flexible, but with teeth. Thank you for your effort. It is appreciated.
