This is not exactly the same thing but I started to hook up a new vent hood in a restaurant ( pre-wired ) and I noticed that every wire used in the prewire was green. The switch leg for lights and vent motor all green.

Got any pics???

Yeah, it's kind of amazing this is UL approved.

Maybe I wasn't wrong about the drain for the panel... :grin:
