I'm looking for a code reference to determine what size IMC i would need for 8 Cat-5 cables. That website may help but it doesnt refer to anything.

There is no standard OD for CAT5 cables. You will have to find the diameter or area of the cable you are going to install and do your own calculation based on Tables 1 and 4 of Chapter 9. Note many cable manufactures recommend a 25% maximum fill, not the 40% fill permitted by the NEC. They also often tell you limit the pulling force to 25 pounds.
