In Annex C the "A" Tables, In Chapter 9, Table " 5A"

Yes T310.15(B)(16) does not distinguish between compact and standard strand conductors. Conduit fill table are in Annex C. The tables with the (A) at the end are for compact strand.

Years ago when they changed to the new aluminum mix and stranding the sales rep for Alcan, who lived across the street from me, showed me factory information compared to the old style.
It had better anti corrosion and better current capabilities.
Like said above you must follow the code amperage.
