Currently I'm studying with tom henry book, and it says you should compare heat load 100% vs ac load at 125% (non coincident load). But seems like most people think load needs to be chosen between 100% heat or 100% ac, whichever larger. Following that when you choose heat load as larger, tom henry omits ac load from largest motor for extra 25% as well although ac unit is the actual largest motor. Lastly, tom henry used ac load at 125% in multifamily dwelling and commercial as the larger load than heat, but he added another 25% of ac unit as the largest motor portion that I've never seen anywhere else. That means total 150% for ac load, right? Can anyone tell me what's the correct way to calculate this part for WA admin test in nec 2023 version?? If there's people who passed the test recently especially, please. I feel so frustrated that there's no one can tell me what's the right way to calculate those part besides who actually passed this exam.
