Compliant transition from HDPE to PVC

What is a code compliant way to transition from HDPE conduit to PVC conduit? Or is it up to the AHJ to approve (or reject) whatever method is used?

Do they make adapters? Or if this polybond stuff is approved:

Everytime I google this, AI just says it's important to make the connection leak proof. I'm pretty sure it's getting electrical conduit confused with plumbing pipe.

According to the link you've provided the HDPE can be connected directly to the PVC with their product. You should contact them if you need something in writing.

POLYWATER BONDUIT CONDUIT ADHESIVE
BonDuit® creates watertight, airtight conduit connections. Its strong bond withstands movement and vibration. BonDuit is used to transition
polyethylene conduits to PVC,
fiberglass, composite, and metals. No special equipment is necessary for installation.

OK, so tha's one method that should be OK.

But are there also adapters?

Everything I find is basically a rubber section with hose clamps - looks like a plumbing fitting to me, but maybe it's also for electrical?

Or are there adapters similar to a coupling can be used?
