Compression Connectors

Hi All,
Are "most" NEMA compression connectors made of copper or copper alloy with electro-tin plating that are on the market? I see that that galvanized or brass hardware(nuts&bolts) are specified, but the compression connector seem to be predominantly made of copper material.

You're referring to compression terminals? The ones that we use to terminate aluminum are made from aluminum not copper like these:

YA36A3, Al Compression, 600 kcmil, 2-Hole, 1/2" Stud, 1-3/4" Spacing, AL9CU | YA36A3 | Burndy

I would say yes that most are copper with plating that I assume is tin. They can’t be used for aluminum wire.

The nice thing about those are they are listed for both aluminum and copper.
