I know of no prohibition. You need to maintain working clearances. If it is a large switchboard with a high current rating, the room will need a second exit. If you want to keep the room cool enough to protect the computers, the presence of the switchboard will force you to upsize the air conditioning equipment. It would not be my choice for room designs, but I think the NEC would allow it.
If the switchboard has exposed live parts, the story would be different. See 384-5 (1999 NEC) or 408.5 (2002 NEC).

Is this part of the UPS output system?
The AHJ may require the switchboard to de-energize when the EPO system is activated. If this is not part of the UPS output (assuming that the EPO shuts off this power outpur), an auxillary shunt trip or other means of automatic disconnect may be required (645.10 unless the exception of 685 applies)
