I need some #12 wire rated 125 degrees centigrade to use as supply conductors for inground Hadco 175 watt MH uplights for lighting a flagpole. They need to be rated for wet location for the inground application.
What should I ask for at the suppy house?

I also need to feed some MH wall floods by Hubbell with the same temp. rated wire.

What wire do I need?

Is this something new in the industry. I would use 90C wire in the past to feed these fixtures...

In the past I've used silicone rubber insulated wires for high temperature (industrial) applications. I'm not sure about the "wet" rating.
Do a search for silicone covered wire.

Back in the 1980's, the canopy lights (at gas stations) would often come with temp rated sleeves that we would slide over our 90c wire to shield it from the ballast heat. Seemed to work.

Hasn't anyone else encountered this problem yet?

Are we to just feed them with THWN and call it a day?

I can't...

The manufacturer hasn't an answer for me yet either...

Here you go:

http://www.r-scc.com/PDF/Firewall-S3.pdf

It will probably be a special order for you and will have some minimum length required.

Although ANIXTER does stock some: (long link but it works)
