Is there a code article for the following: I have(2) 2" conduits with 30 conductors within each in a school Auditorium dimming system and the grounded conductors are in (1) conduit and the ungrounded conductors are in a separate conduit.

Sounds like a typical handypersons (School
maintenance--without the proper
credentials) work!

I agree, and will go so far as to say it may well pose an immediate and serious risk of fire. Depending on how the phases are arranged in the affected branch circuits, and what lights are turned on at any given moment, it is possible that the conduits themselves will become current-carrying conductors (because of magnetic fields imposed on them by the conductors). That could cause them to get hot enough to set the walls on fire.

I recomment taking immediate steps to get this corrected.

This should be corrected ASAP,how hot are the conduits?
