Conduit Body

It is for connectors and couplings, conduit bodies are under a specific code article, 314.
If the designer is wanting to spec something pertaining to conduit bodies he should call it out.
 
Others may have input but I would have concern over the "watertight" requirement.
Watertight EMT fittings are more costly.

Are there actually "watertight" EMT fittings or are they just a generic listing for wet locations? I'm not so sure that the person writing the spec actually wants wet location EMT fittings for all locations. Thoughts?

Hopefully it is just generic for wet locations and not equivalent to "rain tight fittings"... I just saw the term and felt he might want a clarification.
