but, am I right that using EMT one can drop the grounding wire, the number ten in his case, and be fine? Mostly work with pvc so always need my grounds, but..

EMT can be used as the grounding conductor, as I suggested in post 5. He may have to use a ground wire per job specs, however if that is not the case, ditch the idea of the ground wire, stop scratching head on wire fill, get job done, PROFIT!

Of course, it would be completely unethical and against NEC code to ignore that 0.69% overfill and nestle that number 10 ground wire in the dead space between the four number sixes... :angel:
