Conduit installed on fence

This should be fun to ask...

Can conduits be installed on and suppoterd by a chain link fence?

EMT?
Rigid?
PVC?

I think the size of the conduit would make a difference. I wouldn't feel too warm and fuzzy installing a 3" conduit on a chain link fence. 1/2" and 3/4", no problem.

Like others mentioned, make sure your customer owns the fence.

I think 4" RMC would look goog along the top of the fence:grin:
 
I've seen it. 1" EMT supported by mini's on the post. It looked good for the first 2 years until frost heaving moved the post, and now you can see the conductors at several couplings. At one time I thought it was a good idea.

In a RMC/EMT size matching the post size - it looks like it was part of the fence.... :D

One one I welded some strut to it to hang it, but IMO it looks just as good with #12 galvy tie wire... (if done neatly)
