We have a paint spray booth that will have a couple of ceiling mounted fluorescent lights listed for the use. Our drawings showed conduit seals when crossing into the classified area from non-class and when crossing from the Class I area into the Class 2 area. We also showed a conduit seal at each light fixture. We have been asked if these last seals, right at the lights are really needed. To be honest, I can't say. It seems to me we might not need them. Am I off base here?
