10/3 is a cable; How far are you going to make this run from the load center to the appliance? If you are going to use conduit all the way then you don't need to run cable; Maybe you should contact a Licenced Electrician to avoid ANY mishaps; If you burn your house down from incorrect wiring, The insurance company will not pay out and think about your family as well; It will be a small investment
