Conduit support.

I have looked in ART. 358, EMT. Also in ART. 300 wiring methods. I am looking for the ART. and referance # that states wether you can or can not use one raceway(conduit) to support another. I want to say you can't. But I am not seeing it in the NEC.

Thank you.

You can't support EMT with EMT.. You could put up two racks, one under another to run on. Caddy also makes something to hang two conduits under each other.

Augie presented the section number [300.11(B)] that states a raceway is not permitted to support a raceway, except for the 3 conditions.

I'm with Marc on this one.

I don't believe EMT is a raceway, if, in fact, it was installed in such a manner as to not be a raceway, but rather a supporting piece of tubular metal.
