Conduit Use Areas

Usually after "exposed subject to physical damage" the spec will list areas such as loading docs, mech rooms etc.

This spec does not. How would approach what areas are subject to physical damage if you were not able to get an answer?

IMO, "Subject to physical damage" is one of the stupidest phrases ever invented. EVERYTHING is subject to physical damage.
Trust your guys in the field.

Is stainless steel EMT is obviously not the same as "regular" steel EMT, correct? Wasn't aware they made stainless steel EMT and making sure it's not a typo.

And regular RGS for exposed to damage?

Has to be a typo. I would RFI the engineer - probably intended both to be RMC. The spec program that writes those paragraphs has options you can select, and it would be easy to pick stainless where you don't intend to.

I've never seen stainless but I knew one guy who had worked with it. I think he said it was about $100 per 10 feet. This was 50 years ago. Imagine today.
