surface metal raceways like the thin wiremold, is not circular but it can be bent. i have done it with believe it or not with a wiremold bender. its almost like a 3/8 trade size. no b.s.

Look at the xxx.2 section of each of the conduit articles. They all say "raceway of circular cross section", or something similar.
