Connecting 2400/4160Y to 4160 ungrounded delta?

You would normally see that on a 3ph unit, but there would be at least three HV bushings.

Showing 4160Y on a 1ph transformer would only be for informational purposes at best.
IT does seem strange at first , but that is the industry standard designation for single phase transformers. See the following document.

Thanks. It's very confusing, makes it seem like there are 2 windings on the high side even though of course the nameplate doesn't show it. The 4160Y in this case is basically just telling you this would connect to a system that measures 4160 across 2 hot legs of a WYE, not necessarily that you should connect across them because that coils still 2400

exactly, its telling you the type(s) of system it can connect to. In some cases you would also need to know the number of bushings. Attached is the transformer serving me, which is dual voltage so you can see how it is designated. Here the 4800 is a delta system, which would require two bushings, and the 13.2 is an MGN wye so only one bushing would be needed, but of course the transformer has two so it can be used on either system. So one setting is for 4800V, the other is for 7620V applied to the primary coil.

You connect that transformer my bet is the three fuses at the dip pole will never hold.
two will. But that third one is gonna blow.
you need a 7200 delta XF.

Nobody suggested trying to supply a 1ph transformer with 3ph.
