My company is considering a new product that will require connection to 120V above the ceiling, in plenum and not. The product will not be installed by an electrician typically. I understand that we cannot have flex cabling plugging into an outlet above ceiling, so it seems that I must have our installer coordinate with an electrician to hardwire our product. Are there any other code-friendly alternatives? Thanks.
