Connector = Closure?

Would you consider a romex connector to be a closure? If you removed a run from a panel, would you consider the romex connector to be "closing" the hole?

I would not.

I don't, and the code doesn't either. However, we all know that when you're an hour from the nearest supplier, and you can't find that $%#& KO seal, the romex connector becomes your seal. :D

I have used the Arlington "black button" connectors a few times to seal empty KO's when I couldn't find the snap-in ones.

Oh boy. Reminds me of a job not long ago. I was short one EMT connector so went to the truck, got one put it in my pocket. Later got ready to pull wire couldnt get tape through.Tried from both ends. :eek:

It's an old trick if a guy is pissed at his boss.Could cost a lot of time.No i never did it but have heard of it happening.
Usually they put it at a coupler

Actually, the pre-fab 1/2" ko on a 4" square box fits a 3/4" EMT connector perfectly... So I heard
